Hangry Eve

Made for the Jame Gam Christmas Edition 2023.

Rules: 

-1 week to work

-must be Christmas themed

-must have a special object (anvil) play an important role

2D side-scrolling rogue-lite, where you play as an elf on Christmas Eve. Santa is hungry and it could cost you your job and life. Bring him his snacks before it's too late. Bringing Santa a food will make him hammer out a new upgrade on the anvil for you and give you more time to complete the game.  Play in Fullscreen for UI to work best.

P.S. I worked solo on this project, while this was not only my first game jam, but also my first completed personal project. I made everything here except for the music.
